My photography business offers services from senior portraits, weddings, maternity, newborn, and still life shoots, to landscapes, engagement shoots, and customized commissions. I recently entered a photography contest, the first official contest I've ever entered, here in Bozeman. The winners are decided by the public's votes, and I would love it if you would vote for my images.

I am in the professional division, and I have a photograph entered into each of the five categories. Their titles are, respectively, "Summertime Solitude", "All That Glitters", "Walking In A Winter Wonderland", "Winter Welkin" and "Mirror Image".

You can vote once a day until each category has ended. The site is a bit glitchy, so if you cannot see the vote button, it is hidden behind the image in the upper right hand corner.

Please help me win the grand prize, which is $1000 donated to the Gallatin Valley charity of my choice! I'm choosing to support Eagle Mount, which is an organization that offers therapeutic and recreational activities for children and adults with disabilities.

Yesterday I completed my first n**e photography shoot for a class assignment! It was an incredible experience, and I worked with a wonderful model. I can't wait to develop my prints.

This past semester, I made it through the photography gate (AKA the most stressful portfolio review ever!) and I couldn't be happier. I also had the privilege of taking some awesome engagement photos for my good friends. As such, I want to make a serious effort to expand my clientele and build my portfolio. So excited for my newest photography class. I will be working exclusively with film and in black and white. I hope this will increase my skill in getting the shot the first time, as well as not relying on color for a well planned photograph.
