My dream when booking this anniversary trip was to find a photographer near the area, spend the money, have an amazing session, and get some amazing photos back. Without going into detail, I thought I had this all taken care of, until about 2-3 weeks before. And so the story is told, Brandon convinced me, “we can take our own, you’re an amazing photographer, we can do this ourselves” (trying to ease the situation as I thought I had it all planned and ready to go) …so my less confident self thought, ugh, fine! You’re right, We can save money, we just need a few, blah blah!
So we set out one morning, after scoping out spots the night before, made it to our destination. We instantly ran into rain. Sat in the car for about 30 minutes (no service) to hope it would stop when the radar said it would when we checked before we entered the park. And it did!!
And that’s where my story ends, we did it. We took our own photos. And honestly, I don’t regret it one bit. We laughed, we did it, just us, in this spot, and had our own moment, all to ourselves! 🤎
