Before Taylor and Sam’s first date, Taylor prayed that if Sam was the one God had for her, He would show her by having him open her car door.
It may seem like such a small thing, but these days, it’s not something you see all that often. When Sam opened that door for her, Taylor took it as her sign.
And now, here they are, promising forever. 🤍

THE MINI SESSION EVENING

It’s been years since I’ve offered any sort of mini sessions. I typically no longer photograph family sessions…however, since relocating back to Lafayette area this past year I’ve received some interest in something like this. My October is a bit slower than usual, so I have decided to host an evening of minis in Lafayette and this will be open to both couples & families! Great chance to get some updated photos of your little fam or a Christmas card photo.

Hey hey!

It’s been a while, with fresh headshots lately I felt like it’s time for a little reintroduction post.

I’m Sarah, I’ve been a photographer in the industry for 10 years now and have photographed many things over the years, but now I specialize in photographing weddings & engagements. I have a heart for creativity and a passion for capturing genuine moments & authentic joy. I love creating timeless, artful images while making the experience feel relaxed, natural and genuinely fun.📸

When I’m not photographing or editing, I’m a wife to a wonderful man and a mom to three kids. I have a beautiful, sweet & spirited daughter and a set of twin boys with Down syndrome.
Life in this season of raising 3 little ones is always moving. It’s chaotic, BUSY, exhausting, and hard at times, but it’s also filled with so much joy and love. It’s definitely rewarding, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I’m big on family-my own little family of five, of course, but I also really value time with our extended family. Honestly, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by the people I love. 💛

If you’ve ever interacted with me for even a few minutes, you probably know I’m quick to laugh and always looking for little ways to bring some humor into my interactions with others. I truly believe laughter is one of life’s best forms of therapy. Life can be hard, but I also don’t think we have to take it so seriously all the time. There’s almost always room for a little laughter.

I’m a Christian pursuing a deeper relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. It definitely doesn’t look perfect every day, but I do my best to grow in my faith, keep learning, and love others the way He calls us to. I simply could not get through this life without my faith.

Like most busy mamas, there isn’t a whole lot of free time between work and raising little ones. But when I do get those quiet little pockets in my day, you’ll usually find me drinking coffee or tea on the porch while reading a devotional, sneaking in a quick afternoon nap, or getting outside for a walk/run in nature. Those little moments are some of my favorites & so cherished in this season.
