I’m dyslexic. So, school often made me question how smart I was.

Now, I own a photography business that I built from the ground up.

I’m proud of the photographer I became. But I’m equally proud of the business owner I became.

This maternity session almost didn’t happen thanks to Indiana weather.

The forecast looked clear all day. Then, suddenly, rain was expected right during our session.

My clients were driving an hour and a half. Still, they were ready and wanted to take the chance.

So, we went for it.

Not one drop of rain fell. Instead, we got an incredible sky that made the session even better.

I’m so glad we didn’t let the forecast scare us away. Sometimes taking the chance pays off!

Well, you guys absolutely crushed it!

Fall mini session booking opened last night. Less than 12 hours later, all 25 spots were booked!

I wish I could add more dates. Unfortunately, my calendar has officially reached its limit. I’m now fully booked for fall minis and full family sessions.

But there is one more chance!

Tree farm mini sessions will open within the next week or so (exact date TBD). These will be my final family sessions of the year.

You guys rock. Thank you for keeping my calendar full and supporting my little business!

Every baby deserves a welcome committee. This little one has two furry supervisors ready for the job.

Including dogs in newborn photos can be unpredictable. However, that is part of the fun.

With treats, patience, and realistic expectations, I can usually capture everyone together. Yes, even the family members with four paws.

Photographing each child as a newborn has been such an honor. And somehow, every session gets sweeter.

As an Indianapolis newborn photographer, watching local families grow is one of my favorite parts of this job.

Sharing a bit of family joy today, while holding our local community close in my thoughts.

So many families in Carmel, Noblesville, and the Indy area have been impacted by the recent flooding. My heart is with everyone dealing with loss, cleanup, and uncertainty right now.

I’m deeply grateful for the neighbors, volunteers, and first responders showing up for our community in such a meaningful way.

There’s no time to stop and smell the flowers... Fall is almost here!

If you booked a full fall session and do not have a date scheduled, check your inbox. I emailed available dates yesterday. If you did not receive the email, please reach out.

If you want a full fall session but have not booked, now is the time! I can likely add only one or two more sessions this year.

Looking for fall minis? I plan to release those dates within the next two weeks. My full-session clients will select their dates first.

I photographed my cousin’s maternity session.

She was a baby when I started babysitting. I loved her so much, I named my dolls after her.

And now I get to watch that baby have a baby.
