Ah yes, June Gloom has officially checked into Monterey Bay and unpacked all its fog. 🌫️

The sun received the invitation but apparently RSVP’d “maybe later.” Until then, we’ll enjoy our complimentary ocean views, dramatic skies, and nature’s favorite Instagram filter.

Perfect Saturday. ☕🌊

Started the morning at Monterey Wharf #2 and happened upon crews preparing for a row all the way to Hawaii. From there, it was a leisurely walk along the bay, taking in sea lions, seabirds, and all the wildlife that makes Monterey so special.

Then we made it to Cannery Row for a coffee break at Piccolo before heading back to the wharf to pick up some fresh fish right off the pier from Monterey Fish Market.

A little wildlife, a little adventure, a great cup of coffee, and the freshest catch of the day. That’s a perfect Saturday in Monterey Bay.

Walking the rocky beaches of Carmel today, I noticed something new with every glance—sea anemones tucked into tide pools, clams hidden among the rocks, and faces seemingly carved into the stone by the sea itself.

A reminder that nature’s greatest artwork is often found when you slow down and look a little closer. 🌊🪨✨

Memorial Weekend energy along the Monterey Wharf 🌊☀️

Seals barking from the harbor, pelicans gliding overhead, fishermen casting lines, kayaks and canoes weaving through the bay, and crew rows slicing across the water — the whole waterfront was alive today. There’s something so special about Monterey when the sunshine, ocean air, wildlife, and community all come together at once.

May gray never looked so beautiful 🌿🌊A peaceful walk along the Carmel coast with wildflowers bursting into bloom against the moody skies, waves crashing below, and tide pools revealing tiny treasures of sea life along the shore. There’s something magical about this time of year on the California coast… soft ocean air, quiet paths, and nature showing off in every direction.

Carmel in May just has its own kind of beauty 💙
