As our dogs age, they develop more lumps, bumps and silver whiskers. Yet, just as growing older is a privilege for us, it's an absolute pleasure to watch our beloved companions enter their golden years. At a bit of a slower pace and perhaps more naps in between, I hope our Gayle will remain the cherished playmate of our children until the end.

Many Prunedale folks joined me in a last minute venture to support elderly dogs last month. This project is called "Timeless Tails" and it features 11 elderly dogs. This photo is entered at the Santa Cruz County Fair and it will also be printed and framed for Peace of Mind Dod Rescue. Peace of Mind Dog Rescue will be auctioning it off next year to benefit their amazing dog rescue that specializes in elderly dogs. I will be creating some greeting cards with the image on it soon and all of those proceeds will also go to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue as well. Thank you to everyone who brought their gorgeous dogs in!

A photoshoot was most definitely in order. My favorite was this action shot where she chose to lick the spoon instead of look at the camera 😂. I cant say I blame her.
