Somehow it’s come to this..
I just want to make a quick little announcement that I will be removing any photographs of children from family portraits/weddings off of social media.
With the way AI is progressing & exploiting children to disgusting imagery & abuse, I feel this is the best move.
It’s egregious to say AI is even being argued by government officials that it’s protected by the First Amendment. GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ARE PROTECTING AI CHILD P**N.
For the safety of your family & children I will be working hard to delete the images that are uploaded currently. For future photo shoots I will blurring out children’s faces, since they cannot consent. This is an unfortunate way to not be able to post cherish-able moments, but you & your family’s safety comes first before anything with my photo work.
I also DO NOT consent to any of my photography work being generated through AI. I will be making that a new agreement part of my contracts when booking.
To my fellow photographer friends, what are you using to edit your photos? Adobe has integrated AI so much into their Lightroom & Photoshop software. Which is crazy because we didn’t need it before. I’m curious what other softwares are out there that don’t rely heavy on AI.
