WEAR IT PINK DAY!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I wanted to highlight the importance of early detection through self-checks, mammograms, and thermography. We are fortunate to have the SIH Breast Center here in southern Illinois, as well as a number of resources to assist those going through it.

I've had the pleasure of photographing a number of women at various points in their experience with breast cancer. While everyone's journey is different, Amy's story came with a unique twist. Diagnosed during Covid with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, she privately battled and won while teaching elementary school students from home. That was over 5 years ago and she continues to show up every day for her students.

FALLING INTO WINTER 🍂🎃❄️

It has been a busy fall, ya'll! An absolutely amazing season full of family portraits, community events, fundraisers, and school and sports portraits! I could not be more thankful for these opportunities to connect with and capture the amazing people throughout Southern Illinois in beautiful portraits. 💞

Here are a few more opportunities we have to connect before the end of the year!
First, THIS SATURDAY 12p-2p, I can't wait to see everyone all dressed up for the ! I'll be hanging out at The Varsity Center ( ) again this year with PIC OR TREAT!! This is a free community event. No reservations needed. Portraits are shared online for all to enjoy.

Next up, FAST & FABULOUS HOLIDAY PORTRAITS sessions are open for booking November 5-7 and 14-16. This year, you can choose between two backdrops, each with their own vibe to suit your style, and I'm offering tiered options to fit everyone's budget! These will fill up quickly, so please don't wait to reserve your time.

And finally, as always, I would love to collaborate and create some beautiful portraits of you and your loved ones, or update your headshots and branding images to elevate your business. I have had the privilege to work with and support the students in the Jackson CEO / .ceo program for the past several years. It is always a pleasure to learn about the interests of each person and to be able to share a bit about my journey as a portrait photographer over the past 12 years. This year, we had a bit of fun in the studio, and there was no shortage of creative pose ideas from this group!
