She is my sister, and watching her be loved like this is something I will never take for granted.

Getting to be the one behind the camera for it is a whole other kind of gift.

One whole year. It goes so fast it almost doesn’t feel real, and yet here he is; big personality, tiny cake, and absolutely no plans to slow down.

There is something so special about marking this milestone with portraits that will live on your walls long after the birthday candles are blown out. This little guy came into my Downtown Canandaigua studio and completely owned it.
