When I think about the perfect wedding day, I don’t think about the perfect florals, dress, venue, etc.

I think about the intentionality, the love, the small moments shared between you & your partner as well as your family & friends.

The connection. I wanna see you having a blast because you are freaking married!! Toss your worries, and be present. Because time is a thief and it goes by way too fast.

When you decide to get married on your parent’s land surrounded by all of your close family members.🥹

I literally could not have pictured a more perfect day for Madison & Zack! Watching their family celebrate them and have a blast all night long was so special. This is just a reminder that you can literally do whatever you want on your wedding day & it will still be special because of your happiness and the people you chose to be there to support your love!

When thinking about your couple portraits, I want you to know I do not plan on spending an hour on them.

You deserve to have fun & spend time with your people. Twenty minutes is all I need to provide you with images of you in love on your wedding day. Unless you want to spend more time on your portraits (it’s your day hehe) we totally can! But most couples are pretty tired & hot by the end of the day and I would rather you experience your wedding rather than worry about the photographs. Leave it up to me, I’ve got you.☺️

When you invite your friends & family to your wedding, tell them dancing is a requirement okayyyy. I have such a blast capturing you having fun with your favorite people. Whether it’s a funny moment of grandpa dancing or you screaming your favorite song! It’s such a blast.

“When do we need a photographer? Do we need the engagement party captured? Or should we have a photographer for the rehearsal dinner?”

I get these questions a lot and my answer is always yes because I’m never going to say it’s a bad idea to document you celebrating with your loved ones.

So to help you decide, are you wanting to remember the memories you made during these big moments? Or are you wanting to save them for wedding day?

There are different kinds of moments to be captured at an engagement party compered to your wedding day. Your engagement party is a different atmosphere and most likely you will be inviting your inner circle rather than a couple hundred people to your wedding. This type of event provides you with LOADS of candids of you with your people. The same can go with you have photography coverage at your wedding rehearsal!

Getting ready on your wedding day doesn’t have to be complicated.

Just get ready lol.

Okay maybe I’m being a smart ass BUT seriously don’t make it a huge production. Candids of you getting ready are the photographs you’ll look back on.

If there’s a special moment you want to have with your mom, best friend, etc, we will have that moment and carve out time for you to do so. The less stress, the better for you to actually enjoy your day and have fun.

Coming up with a fun session idea doesn’t just happen.

When you hire me as your photographer, I take the time to get to know you and your partner by sending a storytelling questionnaire that asks every question under the sun. This helps me get to know you as a couple, as well as figure out ideas for your session.

Once we have an idea, a location and your outfits just fall into place. I love helping you come up with ideas for your session that actually have meaning to you. I wanna go where you had your first date, maybe a place that you two go to that has special meaning. Alisha & Logan love the Phantom of the Opera - and it just hiiiits.

Because those photographs will have such a special meaning to you rather than standing in a field. On top of that, if you and your partner are nervous to be infront of the camera, going to a place that you’re already familiar with helps ease those nerves ☺️

Creative sessions are literally what give me life as a photographer.

Being able to go to a place that holds meaning to you & your partner not only makes you more comfortable in front of the camera, but it allows you to have fun!

I love being able to ask you the right questions in order to figure out what that location is for you. Once a location is chosen everything else falls into place. Outfits, overall vibes, etc. All that is left is for me to direct you in a way that is most comfortable for you & your partner.

Believe it our not, Sabrina & Max were cracking jokes the entire time we were shooting their engagement session. My favorite thing to say is “And no one ones that we were literally being fools this entire shoot lol”

Because I want you to have fun. This shouldn’t be like pulling teeth. I love hanging out with you just as much as taking your photograph because it brings me so much joy to get to know you.

I will capture the reality of your wedding day.

The beautiful romantic moments. The silly moments. The tears. The laughter. Even the random things.

Such as the bride sitting down, throwing her shoes off because she’s tired because weddings take a lot of you. Those random little moments are everything to me.

Don’t get me wrong I love the romance of it all when it comes to a beautiful couple portrait, BUT. I would rather capture a couple looking over at one another while chatting with their guests. Seeing the love & happiness in their eyes as they realized they’re freaking married!!

OR when a kiddo is being silly with their grandparents who may not be with us much longer.

Moments like that, are the ones I strive for when capturing your wedding day.
