A few months ago, I had the chance to take a quick stop on a trip to Arizona to visit my friend Robert Kropp in Mesa. He owns a few warbirds and is donating one to the Great Wars Museum. Here are some photos I got of his PV-2s, along with several other interesting aircraft I saw at Falcon Field Airport. As always, see image captions for more info!

A few weeks ago, I got the chance to go to a Nashville Crush concert at Henry County Airport hosted by 48N48. Though I certainly can't claim to be a concert photographer, there was an N3N at the concert that I certainly had fun getting shots of, and I did my best trying to get a few shots of the band. It was a great time, with some good music, and it was certainly worth the time. Without further ado, here are the shots!

I’m incredibly saddened today to hear the news of Dan Fordice passing away. I only had the chance to speak to Dan once, at Oshkosh last year. I don’t even recall what we spoke about, but I do remember that he was incredible kind and explained to me a few things about his Mustang. The 2 images I’ve included with this post are both shots I got of his aircraft at Oshkosh last year. I believe that it’s Dan himself flying in the second image. He was a good man, and will be remembered among those in the aviation community. Clear skies and tailwinds, Dan.

First of all, I’d like to preface this post by saying that I’m absolutely no expert on trains. I’m sure that plenty of the info in this post will be wrong, so please correct me if you spot an error.

A couple days ago, I got the chance to look at some of the outdoor exhibits of the Toledo Lake Erie & Western Railway and Museum. This museum seems great (at least externally), and from a friend who volunteers there, I’ve heard great things about the people that work there! More info on each photo in captions.

Day 90 of my EAA Airventure Oshkosh countdown! I chose one of my favourites for #90 - the Lockheed XF-90 on display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The aircraft was a prototype that was underpowered, used as a nuclear test target, and finally preserved in museum. If you love this series and want more, please consider following me! It doesn’t take much time or effort and gets me closer to my goal of 600 followers by Oshkosh! 😃

Also, special thanks to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force for sharing my XF-92 post today! It’s really helped me and I really do love seeing my posts out in the world. It really just makes my day!

Day 96 of my EAA Airventure Oshkosh countdown! Today was a tricky one. Very few aircraft use the number 96, and I don’t have photographs of any of them. So, instead, I’ve picked a photograph of Ford 5-AT-B Trimotor NC9645 “City of Wichita/City Of Port Clinton” (note that it starts with 96). This aircraft is owned by the Liberty Aviation Museum and I flew in it last year on my birthday at MAPS Air Museum! If you love this series and want more, please consider following me! It doesn’t take much time or effort and gets me closer to my goal of 600 followers by Oshkosh! 😃
