Saddle up and join me on June 11, 2026, where I’ll officially be installed as Chairman of the Board for the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce at the Installation Dinner & Awards Night.

Honestly, for over a decade, I have strategically avoided becoming Chairman of the Board mostly because public speaking sounds slightly worse than being chased by a rattlesnake through the desert.
And yet… here we are.

In all seriousness, it truly is an honor serving on this board alongside people who care so deeply about our small businesses, our community, and the heart of Boulder City. This town means so much to me, and being trusted with this role is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

The night is going to be full of good food, awards, laughs, cowboy hats, community spirit, and a very real possibility of me passing out during my speech.

It should be a great time. Yeehaw.

Huge thank you to my besties over at Canon for sending me the RF 100-500 to test out for a fun filled weekend.

I wanted to use it in a real working environment before saying much about it, and after a very long, dusty, hot weekend, I get why people love this lens. Lightweight, fast, and way easier on my body than hauling around my heavier glass all day. I'll definitely be sad sending her back.
