A romantic evening under the twinkly lights at the ICA âšâ Nicole and Kirstenâs modern Institute of Contemporary Art wedding in Boston was a celebration of love, identity, and intentional design, from the sweeping harbor views and gold cherry blossom arbor, to the black and gold palette that mirrored their personal style.â
â
The couple, who met on the tennis court freshman year of high school and reconnected before dating throughout college at Boston University, spent nine months bringing their vision to life with floral suits, custom tailoring, and readings by q***r authors that centered their love and their q***r and trans community.â
â
Their reception in the ICAâs theater felt like dining on the water itself, with cloud-like cherry blossom installations suspended over the dance floor, a champagne wall es**rt display, signature cocktails named after their cats, and a four-tier black fondant cake splattered with gold leaf - every detail a reflection of the thoughtful, modern-yet-cozy aesthetic they share at home.â
