As I approach the second half of wedding season, I thought it was time to say hello and introduce myself! I’m Ashley, a Boston based wedding photographer documenting all things love and future milestones to come 🥹 Something I’ve been really trying to do is take a moment and appreciate where I am. This year has been different, in terms of bookings and trends, and it’s easy to get caught up in always pursuing new goals and chase being better & better each year. But I try not to forget about the past and how far I’ve come in 8 years running this business. So I encourage you to do the same — give yourself love for putting in the work each and every day, continuing to show up and put in effort, even when you don’t see anything in return for days or weeks or maybe even months. The life of running your own business is a windy road with lots of ups and downs, so let’s learn to admire the lows for giving us the mindset on how to embrace the highs. It’s a journey, but continuing to appreciate where you are and give yourself perspective makes all the difference 🤍
