8 years of Ashley Olafsson Photography! 🎉 I started this business as a girl with a camera who just really loved taking photos and somehow this dream has turned into one of the greatest adventures of my life. So much has changed in the past 8 years. I’ve said this before, but I had my son over 2 years ago which changed so much of how I view documenting people’s most precious memories. Everything I do now, I do it so much deeper. I notice things more closely, with such a different and personal perspective, and create with so much more heart. Growing another baby (that has joined alongside me this entire wedding season) has made me feel even more because I now know more than ever how fleeting moments can be. Time goes by too fast and freezing life’s most beautiful moments in time is why I’m so passionate about what I do.

Over the past 8 years, I’ve gotten to meet so many incredible people, travel to beautiful places, and tell countless love stories I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone that has trusted me and supported me, I could never do it without you❣️

Beacon Hill has never looked so good! I got to chase the sun around one of my favorite parts of the city with Emma & Keith and we had the absolute best time ☀️ So excited for their backyard Cape wedding next year!

Fall mini sessions last Sunday in Boston were TOO much fun and I got to do it all over again today with 14 more families in Dedham! Seeing so many familiar and new faces every year for mini sessions brings me endless joy 🤍 Plus, the weather has been perfect! Already can’t wait for all the minis next year will bring 🥰

Samantha and Helena got married in Portland with 20 of their closest people at a quaint AirBnb near the city center followed by a dinner celebration at David's Restaurant 🤍 One of my favorite moments was Samantha getting her finishing touches done on her make up and Helena admiring her, soaking it all in. The whole day was incredibly intimate & special, and one I feel so lucky to have been included in. Love you guys 🥹

I had the best time roaming around Boston with Brendan & Rachel for their engagement photos the other week, hitting all the best spots and grabbing ice cream along the way 🍦Counting down until their wedding weekend next summer at Weddings Venue || Historic || Beverly, MA so we can hangout again 🤍

Rachel & Will got married in Western Mass this past weekend with a backyard celebration on the farm property Rachel grew up on! It was a perfect, sunny fall day and the best day to kick off October 🤍 The love these two have for family and friends was beautiful to witness, including how they went above and beyond to celebrate Rachel’s grandparents 60+ years of marriage. I know they will also be married for just as long 🥹🥂

A nor’easter had absolutely nothing on Helen & Jason’s wedding day last weekend! These two didn’t let the forecast impact their joy once — they handled all the changes like champions and were beaming from ear to ear the entire time 🤍 When they got announced as husband & wife and ran through the rain back to the venue will be engrained in my brain forever! When I first met Helen when we worked together 8 years ago, I had no idea I’d be photographing her wedding all these years later but staying connected to people through this job is one of best parts! I love H+J so much 🤠
