This sweet family originally booked a mini session because they were not sure a full hour of family photos would feel enjoyable for their family. 💛
After their session, mom sent me the sweetest message sharing how surprisingly fun the experience was and how they were already talking about doing more photos together in the future.
Moments like that mean so much to me because my goal is always to create a relaxed experience where families can simply connect, laugh, and enjoy time together.
This late spring orchard session was filled with playful moments, soft light, and so much genuine connection.

Working on the sweetest family gallery today

One of my favorite things about extended family sessions is capturing the relationships that exist across generations. 🤍
The way grandparents look at their grandkids, siblings laugh together, and families simply slow down long enough to be fully present with one another, those are the moments that matter most.
This beautiful Mother’s Day extended family session at Camel’s Back Park in Boise was filled with so much warmth and connection, and I loved documenting it all.

There’s something incredibly special about being invited back to photograph a family year after year.

This Mother’s Day extended family session was extra meaningful because I not only got to see familiar faces I’ve photographed for years, but also meet even more of the people they love most.

These are the moments that matter.
The connections.
The generations together.
The laughter in between poses.
The memories that someday become part of a family’s story. ✨

So grateful to document seasons like these.

This session had such a good mix of soft, simple moments and a little bit of personality
We started out in the field with the prettiest light, then added in her truck for something that felt a little more like her, and I love how both sides came together.
