I just wanted to make a quick Nate Mulroy appreciation post. Nate and I were working long hours on a commercial set this week reflecting on the first film project we did together in high school. I was 16, he was 18, it was a horror short (can you imagine?) and now 13 years later I am blessed to still make things by his side. Nate is the hardest worker I’ve ever known. He is the guy you call when you need the impossible achieved and he does it. Somehow.
I hope you know how loved and appreciated you are, simply for who you are and also for the incredible work you do. Your work ethic and attention to detail are unmatched. Your skills blow me away. you make my sides hurt with laughter every time we’re together. You make 14 hour shooting days feel easy. I just love that we get to do this together still, your friendship means so much to me. I hope we get to make films and tell stories together for the rest of our lives 🙏🏻🎬🎥❤️

Take me back!
Been so nostalgic for last October, getting to shoot Trial 670, fly to LA, meet the most amazing filmmakers, and take home some awards was the most incredible experience. We had some serious fomo watching our friends participate this year in Room 23 put on by Jakob Owens and cheer them on from home. But only because we’ve got some huge irons in the fire we can’t wait to share about soon. 🎥🎬

So happy for all the films and winners this year, and hope to make it back again next year! It’s seriously the highlight of my year last year, and filled me with so much hope and ambition to keep doing the dang thing. 🙏🏻❤️

I keep seeing lists “up and coming horror directors” “Best young horror filmmakers” “New horror filmmakers making waves” and they’re some amazing filmmakers who’s careers I cannot wait to follow and watch blossom, but i’ve noticed not a single lady on these lists. I’d like to change that.

This audio made me cry.
If little me with the VHS camcorder recording my dog and my puppet theater shows endlessly, could see me today. It can be so hard not to wish i was further along, doing more, accomplishing more. Its so important to reflect on how 5 years old me might see me, and how we’ve done so far 🥹❤️🥰

Making “Violet” was insane. Two all nighters in a row. Only a $3k budget. We all worked for free for the love of the game. Still proud of this film.

Big proud of my mans and these guys for doing something extraordinary. We got to see smokin saga part one and two up on the big screen with family and friends and attended and absolute blast of an after party. 🎊 🥂🍾 this series is SO badass and I cannot wait to see what more is to come. 🙌🏻👏🏻 It is such a huge blessing to have extremely talented friends chasing the dreams along with us. Could not be more grateful for these people in our lives.
