It has been a while since I last introduced myself! So, for all the new people,
Hi! My name is Annie Hocking, the owner and photographer for Smiles and Snouts Photography. I started my photography journey when I was little, taking random pictures of nature. I started doing other styles after I photographed my uncle's wedding, and I realized just how much I love being behind the camera. I am a very busy gal, but I always try to work with YOUR schedule and your budget, no matter the style of session you are wanting. I will do it all. :)

A little bit about me:
I am happily married to an amazing man, and we have a perfect little boy that was born 11/23/2025.
Outside of my photography, you can find me spending time with my family, crafting (check out my craft page at Annie's crafty shenanigans on Facebook), walking my dogs, hanging with my snakes, or doing English Country Dancing (think dancing from Bridgerton or Jane Austin movies). I also teach country line dancing at the Dick Eardley Senior Center in downtown Boise!

I am not normally one to share the news, but I thought everybody would like to see I work with all kinds of budgets, even if they end up being false in the end. And I can usually take bookings the day of! I do not like the reason this came out to be, but I was more than happy to jump in. You are my priority during the wedding! Money can be figured out. I dropped everything I was doing that day just to be there for them and I am so thankful for the couple and their families being so patient with me.

Brides in Idaho and three other states accuse the same wedding photographer of cancelling the day of. They all got identical texts about a medical emergency.

First Graduate of the season! The one request he had was he needed ones with his truck, so of course we are making that happen!
