Happy Halloween friends! Had to drop set number 2 from the workshop! I love playing with different edits and switch up tones and colors in post when it comes to creative work! Halloween is the perfect time for it!

Last night’s Halloween-themed workshop was so one for the books!

I partnered up with and Westcott Lighting , to showcase how to use the Smoke Ninja Pro V2 and its various attachments to build the perfect eerie, Halloween feel.

We combined some of my favorites: color gels, practical effects, and shifting the white balance in-camera to pull an entirely different mood and feel from the exact same gel setup. It completely transforms the image straight out of camera!

None of this comes to life without an amazing team. A massive thank you to our incredible model Roxy Albig / LobotAmie , who looked so eerie and ethereal all at once, and to Danielle Smith Artistry for creating such a stunning makeup look. A big shoutout to Briana Pitts for being my smoke master and creating this fabulous eerie feel.

Huge thanks to Pictureline Boise for hosting and providing such an incredible space to create in, and a special shoutout to Tamron Rocky Mountain from Tamron Lenses for coming out and bringing an amazing lineup of lenses for everyone to play with.

Hi friends! Join me at Pictureline Boise for an exclusive, hands-on creative workshop! I’ve partnered with my friends at Practical Magic & Innovation | Portable Fog & Haze Machines and Westcott Lighting to show you exactly how to dial in those moody, spooky vibes.

We’ll be getting hands-on with the Smoke Ninja, diving into its different modes, and testing out the various attachments to create the perfect spooky effects. If you know my work, you know how much I love building dynamic sets with bold light and atmospheric smoke, and I can’t wait to share this workflow with you all.

Traveling light shouldn’t mean compromising on punchy, bold color.

If you know my work, you know we don’t do flat, desaturated light around here.

Meeting Michael aka Michael Taeza in LA for TikTok and then getting the opportunity to do a quick shoot was such a cool moment. However, someone please help me because why do I constantly find myself surrounded by creepy clowns? 🫠

Enjoy, because we took some of these in the hotel hallway and tried to go to sleep after… but also no sleep was had. 🙃

When she’s the sweetest human you’ve ever met but her alter ego is literally the creepiest thing you’ve ever met 💀 Kora the Creature | Drag Artist is an absolute genius when it comes to shape shifting into your worst nightmare 😮‍💨 so friends when I tell you that I was terrified the whole shoot, I’m not lying.
