Spent 3 days exploring the Ansel Adams Wilderness area, with nights at Ediza Lake and Minaret Lake, plus a scramble up Volcanic Ridge. It was the perfect mix of alpine lakes, granite peaks, and a little off trail side questing. Plus, a lot of quality nature time with my brother! We don’t often get to adventure just the two of us anymore, so I’ll cherish these memories for a long time. Definitely one of my favorite backpacking trips in the Eastern Sierra.
You’ll need permits for this one! Trailheads are located in Inyo National Forest.
Making my own stars in Minaret Lake! ✨
Morning reflections.
Wildflowers were still peaking in the valley! 🪻
Just wanted to share some landscapes! I only brought my 24-70mm on this trip and regretted it the entire time lol. The views were WIDE 🙌

Summit log on Volcanic Ridge! Almost didn’t do this scramble, but so glad we made it up here. 360 views of the entire area. 🙌
Last morning at Minaret Lake before packing up and hiking out. Trying out my new ZENBIVY bed!
