We swam. We bounced. We fished. We “'tiled.” We dirt biked our brains out.

We soaked up the long days, made a mess, stayed up too late, and somehow squeezed out every . last . bit . of summer.

The Bockenstedt family 🤍

This session was a bit of a gamble. Just hours before, we were watching the forecast, wondering if we'd be standing in a downpour and dodging puddles all evening. Instead? The clouds cleared, the sun showed up, and we ended up with the most perfect night on their beautiful family farm.

I’m feeling ALL the feels with back-to-school season.

I love this extra time with my boys, but I’d be lying if I said I’m not ready for a little routine again...especially my editing + decluttering routine. 😂

I never want to wish these years away because I know how quickly they go, but this routine-loving mama is definitely craving some structure (+ uninterrupted editing time!). 🙌🏼

Thank you so much for your patience with my editing turnaround this time of year. ❤️ I’m working away behind the scenes + soaking up these last summer days with my boys while I can.
