These two love birds are heading south for the winter indefinitely. And I don’t blame them. 😂 All the best to Mel and Joel as they take on Florida and their new adventures! The Midwest is going to miss you both dearly. :)

Am I skipping what day it is because I am terrible at posting everyday? Yes. Yes I am. 😅

BUT, I’m still thankful. :) This is Scout. He’s my furry boy and I’m extremely thankful for him. We got his shortly after moving to NC and it was one of the best things we could have done. It was another story where the humane society there didn’t think he would get adopted (he was heartworm positive) and he was in a kill shelter. When they told me he had three days left to live, I didn’t have to even contemplate adopting this little man. He has since transformed into a completely different dog, and we love him so much.

Day 5:

This little girl was the “one eye” wanted. 😉 Riley was a puppy when we got her and the humane society told me they didn’t think she was going to get adopted. She was born with one of her eyes underdeveloped, but still catches a frisbee better than any dog I know. She’s also sassier than any dog I’ve met. 😂
After having her for ten years now, I would gladly do it all again.

Day 4:
Thankful for my veteran. And moody editing. But seriously, this guy right here does everything for his family and then some. I’m so thankful for all he has done, currently does, and will do. ♥️
A little late, but thank you to all of our amazing veterans! I’m lucky to have met so many while Ben was serving. Some of the greatest people. ♥️

Today I am thankful for books. A hobby that I have grown to love and cherish over the years. It’s brought me many friends, both fictional and real.

Forever thankful for the one the made me a mama. Elena Rose, you are a blessing. Even when you push all my buttons. 💕
Toddlers are fun right? But in all honesty, I bribed her with cheese to sit here for me. 😂

Nora Grace. My second daughter. She’s spunky, quirky, and the sweetest little bean. She’s always smiling and laughing, except in this picture. 😂
