Sparks Lake has to be one of the most beautiful backdrops for photos. I got to meet Rachel Gill & Nick and most importantly their dog Loaf for their engagement session. Now we just have a wait a year until their wedding. Can’t wait!

Meet Peanut, our new leopard gecko. The boys have begged for a pet for ages. The gave in and now we have a lizard. Today is the first day I’ve ever held a reptile. 😬 I feel like an official boy mom now.

Being named a finalist in the Best Photographer in Oregon (outside Portland) by Oregon Wedding Day Magazine is such an honor! I had the best time at the awards last night and celebrating with all my wedding friends! Big congrats to all the winners, but especially those Central Oregon vendors. COWA ROYALE! An epic end of year gala put on by the to celebrate all the amazing wedding vendors here in Central Oregon. I’ve loved being a member of this community for the last few years and now am taking on the role of President on the 2026 board. This community is unlike anything I’ve experienced anywhere else I’ve lived and I hope to keep fostering this community going forward!

I am so excited for what 2026 has in store! & Kevin will be getting married at this summer but for their engagement photos I got to check out a part of the Oregon coast called Neskowin that I hadn’t been to before. Her grandmother has a house there and she grew up visiting on this beach so it was a meaningful spot for photos.

Who is going to give me an excuse to head to the coast next?

This is 40! What a fun last year I had in my 30’s. Thankfully it doesn’t feel like I’m that age and I still love what I do for a living! This year I traveled a lot for work and for fun. It included trips to Lake Tahoe, Dallas, Santa Cruz twice, the Washington Coast, Denver, the Oregon Coast twice, and LA. It was such an honor to document all the weddings, portraits and events I had. I have just a few last things to edit from the year and will enjoy the holidays before weddings start again in January! I am looking forward to what 40 has in store for me! A big thank you to all my second photographer who grabbed these BTS shots of me working!
