Every so often I like sharing more personal photos instead of always just posting photography. I would rather share and write about personal experiences, share my story, and share my family who are the people that have pushed me and supported me my whole life to chase what I love. They’ve stood by me when I’ve succeed and they’ve helped me when I’ve failed. They call me an idiot when I’m being dumb and I do the same (we’re pretty sarcastic towards each other).
My mom and I listen to our 80’s music together and drink tequila while jamming out.
My dad and I geek out over tech, cars, books, and are the only ones in my family who love a cold glass of milk.
My sister Kesley and I love all the same outdoor sports and always talk about traveling to go surfing, climbing, and now dirt biking together.
And Sunny and I share talk about growing up, laughing at memes we send to each other, be basic white girls at Starbucks together (okay just me), have our own sibling dates...
We’re a very close family. We learn, work, and play together as much as we can. Through adulthood it’s been harder to see each other, we’ve missed holidays, we’ve missed big events, and have gone too long without seeing one another. But no matter what, I’m lucky to have them as a family and lucky that every single one of them has made me a better man day in and day out.
