Here’s your Tuesday reminder:

God’s timing doesn’t always make sense while you’re waiting for it.

Sometimes we’re convinced something should have happened by now. Sometimes we wonder why the door hasn’t opened, why the answer hasn’t come, or why we’re still in the same season.

But just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it isn’t coming.

What’s meant for you won’t need to happen on your timeline to be right on time.

Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep moving forward.

What are you waiting on God’s timing for right now?

They say that the secret to looking good in photos is being loved by the person behind the camera.

Now, let’s talk about AI. There’s a lot of talk about AI right now… Data Centers. Robots taking over 90% our jobs. Self-driving cars. Self-flying planes. More robots than humans in the next 5-10 years. In some more extreme circles, there’s even talks of AI merging with humans to create some sort of super-human live-forever scenario.

Maybe we will read this post 10 years from now and be like yup— that actually happened. Or maybe we will read it 10 years from now and laugh at the ridiculousness of it all….I don’t know. But there are a few things that I do know….

AI will never replace the warm embrace between a mother and a child.
It’ll never replicate the love poured into a family recipe that’s been perfected over generations.
It’ll never be able to reproduce the tedious, painstaking strokes of a hand-painted canvas.
It won’t strum a guitar and sing with such a powerful beauty that it brings an audience to tears.
It won’t know how to really see someone, to invoke the right emotions, to take a photograph that captures someone’s soul.

God didn’t create humans to be a replaceable mediocracy. He created us in His image. He made us remarkable— just a little lower than the angels. He made us loving, creative, resilient, compassionate, and capable of incredible things. I refuse to believe that man can make something that can be greater than the creation that God so lovingly and intricately formed.

I do believe that man can, and will, continue to create AI that will surpass our wildest imagination— but it’ll never have a imperfectly perfect human soul.

I think this is the first family from Montana that I've ever gotten to photograph.

It makes me so happy to think of my photography being displayed in family homes all across the country.

Thank you for trusting me with your family photos on your recent visit to Texas! I hope you're at home in Montana enjoying some cool, fall weather! Send some our way, please!

Attention: Family photo session clients!

Over the next several days and weeks, I will be updating my Signature Location List....

What does that mean?
It means that this August heat + no rain has some of my favorite photo session spots looking a little dry, yellow, and crunchy-- not my favorite look!

I will continually be scouting locations to bring you the most lush greens, the most golden sunsets, and the most unique and beautiful backdrops that I can find.

Our landscape in Central Texas is beautiful-- it's also continually changing. Over the next several weeks, you may see location suggestions that are more rocky than grassy, more tree-filled shady areas and less open landscape; this is all done strategically to give you the signature look that you know and love while adapting to the changing seasons.

In the meantime, keep your eyes out! If you see a location you love, have family land, or know of a spot that is meaningful and special to your family-- let me know! I'm happy to pivot and utilize a new location that means something to you!

Also, please pray for rain. I want it, I love it, and we desperately need it.
