Hey everyone! Most of yall know that I’ve stepped away from photography about a year ago. It’s been bitter sweet, but my daughter is now a Senior 😩😱 and I’m trying to soak in as much as possible!

With that, I’ve decided to clean out & sell most of my props and such (no camera equipment!). Over half of it is Christmas & Newborn, and then other themed items.

If you’re interested in digging around my studio before I start posting in marketplace, just comment below and we can set up a time. (It’s in my home so it’ll be by appointment.)

UPDATE: All newborn stuff is gone, and the green velvet sofa… still lots of holiday props and backdrops, and general props.

Hey friends!!! Long time coming post….

The photography industry has changed sooooo much in the 16+ years I’ve been in it…. with that, the last couple years have been the toughest. Inflation is unreal, and us photogs still need to make a living, but no one understands when prices go up a bit here and there for the same service, when in reality we’re making less. And when budgets get tight, or as kids get older and busy with sports, professional pics go to the back burner. I get it, I’m a sports mom too and it eats up all our funds, lol. But every photographer I know is slowing leaving the industry as we just don’t make enough for it to be a living anymore.

Also, my family has had some unexpected changes that photography doesn’t fit into as easily. I’ve taken on a position that doesn’t allow all the editing time I once had, but a position I’ve been longing for, for a while, before my daughter heads off to college in a couple years. (College, OMG! I’m not ready!!!). My daughter is my #1 priority, and trying to enjoy as much as possible these last couple years that she’s home (along with her crazy busy softball schedule!).

So with that…. I’m pulling back on photo sessions. NO, I’M NOT CLOSING!!! Just changing things with the ebb & flow of life. I will be taking on wayyyyyy less sessions and focusing more on what I love the most… family minis, seniors, and kids.

Family minis will be super duper limited, but I’ll give announcements before they go live to book. I will also be letting go of most of the themed minis. And lastly, I will no longer be taking sessions November thru January, but fall family minis will still be taken Sept/Oct.

So…. FYI, I’m already fully booked thru May, but still have a couple openings left in the summer. Give me a yell asap if you want one. 🥰😘
