There’s just something about fall in Pennsylvania. The crisp mornings, the trees turning every shade of gold and red, the sweaters coming back out, and that little stretch of the year where everything just feels a little softer. 🍂

It’s one of my favorite seasons to photograph because it already feels like a memory while you’re living it.

So let’s capture a little piece of it.

Maybe this is what it’s all about. 🤍

Making a living, yes. Chasing big dreams, absolutely. But never getting so busy building a life that we forget to actually live it.

We want to capture more than the run, the smile, or the perfect shot. We want the dust flying, the belly laughs, the sweet moments that you thought no one saw, the candid looks, the quiet moments.

The beautiful, messy, completely real moments that make up a life well lived.

Happy National Dog Day to the four-legged crew that makes our house a whole lot fuller, louder, and happier!🐾

If you know me, you know how much I love my doggos.😍

🤍 Riley — my little blonde girl and my sidekick for the last 8 years. My ride or die, therapist, best buddy, and the one who’s been beside me through just about everything.

🖤 Murphy — my Great Dane and quite literally my dream dog. A giant velcro baby who would probably crawl into my skin if I let him.

🤎 Dozer — our chocolate Lab and, without question, my husband’s best friend.

🐾 Rhea — our German Shepherd, my hiking partner, adventure buddy, and another certified velcro dog.

Our house is full of dog hair, giant paws, zero personal space, and so much love. Life is just more fun with these guys in it. 🥰

We know our camera roll has been a little horse heavy lately... 🤠📸 but we promise, there’s still plenty of love stories happening behind the scenes. 🤍

We’re putting the finishing touches on another wedding gallery today and getting ready to send it home, and just had to share a little peek before it goes!

There’s something so special about delivering a wedding gallery. All the little moments, the big ones, the happy tears, the chaos, and everything in between finally get to make their way back to the people who lived them.

Horse show season may be in full swing, but wedding days still have a very special place around here. 🥹💍

Things are getting a little ranchy this weekend… 🤠

We are SO excited to be joining Western Pennsylvania Reining Horse Association for the Hometown Heritage Reining Series!

It’s going to be a weekend packed with a whole lot of reining and ranch riding, and we can’t wait to jump into it all!

We’ll be covering the entire weekend in both arenas, so keep an eye on our page for gallery updates as we get photos posted. See you at the WPQHA grounds! 📸🐴

Believe it or not… we were actually two places at once this weekend! 🤭📸 While part of Nitty Gritty was at the Keystone Cowboys’ Final Roundup, we also had the sweet privilege of capturing some of our Nitty Gritty 4-H friends at the PA District V Show! 🤍🐴

These are the kinds of shoots that are so near and dear to our hearts. There’s something incredibly special about getting to capture more than just what happens in the show ring… the quiet moments getting ready, the love these girls have for their horses, the nerves before a class, and the excitement on their faces when they hear their name called for a ribbon.

These are the memories that make up a childhood with horses, and getting to preserve even a little piece of that is such a privilege. 🥹

Congratulations to all of our girls and their pony partners! We are so, so proud of you and grateful we got to capture a piece of your weekend! 🤍🐴
