Poignant!

I've lost many parts of me prior to being here; abandoned pieces of my life that I can no longer retrieve nor go back to those times just to undo everything. I've got my saddest of days and loneliest of nights—I've had my share of breakdowns and downfalls, too; I've had my heart gone black and blue, guts caught with punches and blows, and soul wrecked and knocked down. But I managed to survive all of those tortures, and get out of the warzone bleeding but still breathing. I found a place where I was alone, but I knew I could rest—so I took the chance to revive my own self.

So now that you see me smiling, know that it took almost of my all to do it again; now that you hear me genuinely laughing, be aware that I once lost the very reason for it. If you will just take away all the reasons for me to be happy, without doubts and hesitations, I'll cut you off of my life —I no longer want to give others even the slightest opportunity to ruin what I had worked on just to thrive.
