From the Stands to the Fence Line

The first photo was taken from the stands—just a fan with a camera, trying to freeze a moment before it disappeared in the dust.

The second was taken from the fence line—a place I once dreamed of shooting from. Still learning, still growing, and still finding my place in this world one rodeo at a time.

Somewhere between these two photos, a dream turned into a passion, and a passion turned into a purpose.

Rodeo gave me more than great images—it gave me the courage to step out from the crowd and chase something bigger than I ever imagined. ❤️🤠📸

A couple of weeks ago the Logan Fire Company No. 1 in Bellefonte did a training at an abandoned office building that we are allowed to use for training purposes. This training was for heaving smoke and learning to travel along the floor to find the victim that was hidden in a room where they could act unresponsive - have a broken limb - or just trapped.

As much as I wanted to get photos of them going through the process it was a bit too dark for my camera without using a flash.

Well I jumped on the band wagon of this while patiently waiting for my season to fully kick off on the 13th now (the rain canceled my first one of the season this past weekend)😅
