1️⃣Pick 2–4 complementary colors
2️⃣Mix textures/patterns
3️⃣Start with one outfit and build everyone else around it

Well friends… today looks a little different over here. 😂

After injuring my back, I'm being forced to slow down a little and take it easy. And if you know me, you know sitting still is NOT exactly my specialty. 😂

So today I'm taking it easy, but still getting a little editing done from my computer. 📸💻

Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and give yourself permission to slow down.

But enough about me…

Being a mom and a photographer looks a little something like this…

My camera sitting next to my laptop. 📸
My water bottle reminding me to actually drink water. 😂
My glasses because editing has my eyeballs questioning everything. 👓
And random kid stuff underneath my workspace because… well, I'm a mom. 😂

Some days I'm editing galleries.

Some days I'm answering messages while making dinner.

Some days I'm planning sessions while helping with homework.

Some days I'm trying to work while someone needs a snack every 12 minutes. 😂

It's not always glamorous.

It's not always organized.

But this little business was built around my life as a mom, not separate from it. ❤️

And honestly?
I wouldn't have it any other way.
