Not checking if the cake arrived.
Not making sure the tables are set.
Not answering vendor questions.
Not checking the timeline.
Not running around fixing the little things that didn’t go according to plan.

Be in the room with your daughter.

Help her into her dress. Fix her necklace. Sit with her for a minute. Look at her. Take it all in.

I’ve seen how quickly a wedding day can become heavy for moms when there isn’t someone else managing the details. Without realizing it, Mom becomes the coordinator, and while she’s making sure everyone else is taken care of, she’s missing moments she can’t get back.

Your daughter needs you there. Not as the person running her wedding day, but as her mom.

And you deserve to experience it too.

This is one of the reasons having a planner or coordinator there to manage the wedding day matters so much. It allows the people you love to simply be present.
