📸 QUICK STILL CLICKIN’ UPDATE! 🎰🥎
(And by quick, I apparently mean a small novel. Sorry in advance, but this isn't new🤦♀️)
Figured I'd get ahead of the questions before I head to Vegas on Wednesday! 😂
FIRST THINGS FIRST — MC1 & MC2!
I'm officially in the HOME STRETCH of MC1! 🙌 I'm going to keep plugging away at galleries between now and Wednesday. Would I LOVE to have MC1 completely wrapped up before I leave? ABSOLUTELY. Is that realistic? Ehhh... we'll see. 😂
Once MC1 is finished, MC2 is next in line! I know everyone is anxious to see their photos, and trust me, I'm just as anxious to get them delivered!
NOW, FOR MY VEGAS PEOPLE! 🎰📸
I'm heading your way Wednesday, and I'm excited to capture another tournament! BUT I want to be completely transparent about turnaround times before we even get started.
Vegas galleries will be added to the editing queue AFTER MC2 is completed. That means there WILL be a wait, and I want everyone to be aware of that going into the weekend.
I'm not going to give estimated completion dates that I can't confidently stand behind. I'd rather be upfront about expectations than make promises I might not be able to keep.
So, what's next after Vegas? Well, something's gotta give...🤷♀️
As much as I love being out at the fields, capturing memories, and seeing everyone, I've made the decision that Vegas will be my last tournament behind the camera this year.
The reality is, I need to stop adding to my editing queue and give myself the time and space to catch up on everything already waiting to be delivered. I had already scaled back my booking lists this year in an effort to keep things manageable, but between life, injuries, accidents, and everything else that decided to throw itself into the mix, things just didn't exactly go according to plan.🙃
My full-time job alone has me working 55–60 hours a week, and then I'm trying to squeeze in editing, traveling, maintaining a house that needs attention, and 8 million other adult responsibilities that have been put off all year.
Me trying to balance all of that: I HAVE TOO MANY SPONSERBERLERIES! 😭😅
There simply aren't enough hours in a day or days in a week to keep up with it all. And with my full-time job not expected to slow down until January, continuing to book tournaments while trying to catch up just isn't a situation I want to keep putting myself in.
As much as I wish I could do it all, I'm realizing that something has to give — and I'd rather that be my tournament schedule than the quality of my work, my commitments to my clients, or my own well-being.
So after Vegas, it's time to put the camera down for a bit and focus on getting these galleries across the finish line! And maybe, just MAYBE, remember what it feels like to have a weekend off without the constant guilt and anxiety of knowing there are photos waiting to be edited 🙃
A FEW FRIENDLY REMINDERS:
📸 Galleries are being completed in order.
💻 I'm editing whenever my schedule allows, including plenty of nights and weekends.
📣 I'll continue posting progress updates so everyone knows where things stand.
❤️ Your photos haven't been forgotten, and neither have you!
I know the wait has been longer than anyone anticipated, myself included. And believe me, nobody wants these galleries completed more than I do!
I care about the quality of my work, I care about the people who support this little business of mine, and I'm trying to do right by both without completely running myself into the ground in the process.
To everyone who continues to support Still Clickin’, trusts me to capture their memories, and gives me a little grace while I juggle approximately 47 different things — THANK YOU! ❤️
Still Clickin’ isn't going anywhere. I'm just trying to make sure I head into 2027 with a fresh start instead of a mountain of unfinished work!
Now, back to editing before Vegas! 💻📸
