Kim is not just a girls girl she is your forever kind of girl. We had a couple days together before the The Roadtrippers | Women’s Photography Retreat so of course we put on 80s music and photographed each other in my studio for 2.5 hrs and put on as many dresses as we wanted from the client closet. Lots of singing, laughing, dancing and taking turns in front of the camera. A core memory for sure ❤️

We met 10 years ago when I hired her to make a video for my website. Since she lives in Kansas this meant I needed to travel to her. She invited me to stay at her house and the rest is history. We talk on the phone almost every day and it’s mostly about photography with some life mixed in but no one cares about our photography highs and lows like we can for each other. If you know her, you love her, and also know there is no one like her. Love you so much, Kimberly!!! Kim Malham Bear

I’m so excited to be teaching at Reset | Photography Conference, Education & Community in March!! They just released the schedule and I think it might be the strongest lineup I’ve ever seen and I’m just so honored to be included.

Why do I love this conference? Let’s make a list…

1. This is a girl’s trip mixed with photography and honestly I can’t think of many things that rank higher than that!

The Female Photography Retreat 2026 ladie’s photography retreat is in the books! A beautiful week in Blue Ridge was just what we needed ❤️. The mountains, lake, fields, farms, and amazing sunsets, were everything we needed to paint our canvases! The women were incredible as usual. So supportive and kind no matter what stage of the game they are in. Our attendees ranged from newer photographers to photographers who run a national photography conference Reset | Photography Conference, Education & Community ❤️. If we closed our eyes and only listened to the voices we would never know the difference in skill level because of the love and support that went round and round the table. I wish I could tell that everything everyone learned is what they will take away the most but it’s not. It’s the difference in how they felt from the day the walked in vs how they felt the day they left. The communication and support they continue to give each other since we left through our group chat is unmatched. I built this retreat to give women a community of photographers to grow and learn with and with an open heart that is what they leave with. I can’t wait to share more about all our fun but for now I’ll just leave these beautiful behind the scenes photos here!!

Kensie was our first model for the Female Photography Retreat ❤️. My team and I searched and searched for the perfect location and stumbled upon 6 Pond Farm in the Blue Ridge, GA area. I knew Kensie would love the animals and she definitely did! It was a dream to have her model for us, she is after all the whole reason I became a photographer. My first and favorite model of all time.
