Vitiligo friends, what are YOU doing this weekend?

There’s still time to join us for FREE photos this Saturday, from 12-6pm in Atlanta, GA.

If you’ve been curious about stepping in front of the camera but are not quite ready for a full, high-pressure shoot, this is for you.

Our Vitiligo Advocacy Content Party is an intimate, low-key, no-stress space where you can simply show up and be yourself.

You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need to feel “ready.”
You just have to be open.

You’ll be coached in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and even…fun. Llexi Wales of Vitiligo Beauty Co will be in the building offering brand makeup and grooming.

There will be music, conversation, and a room full of people supporting each other as they each step into their moment.

KINGS’ MOMMY

Trigger Warning: mentions loss/death

My creative focus is always on bringing your unique story into the light. But the deeper truth I hope you carry with you from our time together is this: there is no light without shadow, no joy without sorrow, no gain without loss.

To live fully is to hold space for all of it, the beauty and the heartbreak, the becoming and the letting go.

I am not here to create one-dimensional images in pursuit of some unattainable perfection. I am here to honor the fullness of who you are.

I have photographed people who have endured profound losses, some only days before standing in front of my lens.

You see their beautiful images.
I see their courage.

I see them showing up through the loss of careers, homes, relationships, and loved ones. I see them choosing to be present while carrying what feels unbearable. I see them honoring themselves anyway, holding space for all that life has asked of them, and doing it in style.

There is no greater example of this than this exquisite beauty. Her session took place only weeks after the passing of her beloved son, King.

And on this day, his birthday, we celebrate his life.

And we honor her love.
And we honor her bravery.

You see a beautiful image.

I see a beautiful soul.

This is what it means to Shine Bright.

Happy Belated Birthday.

Lynette is one of those women who’s often mistaken for being younger — which sounds cute until you realize even perceived advantages come with their own little frustrations. There isn’t anything wrong with wanting the world to see you exactly as you are: a whole, healthy, fully-evolved woman.

For her 40th birthday, she told me she wanted something classy…but still very grown. A look that says, “I know who I am. I’ve lived, I’ve loved, I’ve lost, and I’ve earned every bit of this era.”

How do you think we did? Because I think she’s absolutely breathtaking.
