On today’s episode of weddings that live rent-free in my mind: Kaylee + Zack! 🫶🏻

They poured so much thought and care into every detail, and it showed. Family and friends traveled from all over to be there, and Ramble Creek was the perfect destination. There’s something so sweet about watching a space come alive when it’s filled with the people you love.

She wore her grandmother’s veil. 🥹

Rachel + Evan’s day had so many beautiful details, but this was my favorite. On its own, the veil was beautiful with its intricate lace details. But knowing it was also a treasured family heirloom made it even more special. A sweet piece of the past — and of the women who came before her — carried into her own new beginning. 🫶🏻

Looking back through their images brings the joy of the day rushing right back. Truly can’t stop smiling every time I look at them! Sweet day, sweeter couple. So thankful I got to tell this part of their story.

“Annie is such a good friend.”

After one of her bridesmaids said this to me, I couldn’t stop noticing the truth of it the rest of the day. Guests traveled from multiple states to celebrate Annie + Tripp in downtown Chattanooga — a testament to how loved they are. I’m still thinking about it months later. 🫶🏻

Their intentionality didn’t stop with the guest list. Annie even designed several custom goods herself, weaving their personalities + story into every detail. One of my favorites: their reception dessert. When Tripp proposed, he tucked the ring inside a box of chocolate chip cookies — Annie’s all-time favorite treat. So instead of cake, they served cookies. 🍪

There’s one reception image I still can’t get over (can you guess which one?)

kept the dancefloor packed all night, and when I look back at the images, I feel like I’m right back in the middle of all the fun.

A day so perfectly true to Mr. & Mrs. James ♥️

Looking at the cold temps in the forecast this week has me reminiscing on some of my favorite colder-weather weddings. ❄️🩵

Kaylee + Tom’s day always stands out in my mind because every detail was so intentional. They bonded thanks to their shared love of aviation and travel — so it was only fitting that their wedding incorporated some nods to the pastime that brought them together!

Some of my favorite touches:

- Luggage tag seating chart (that doubled as favors!)
- Paper airplanes for guests to toss in the air as they exited the ceremony ✈️
- A winter color palette that felt so timeless + classy

I’m still simply obsessed with every piece of their florals by , too. Every detail of this day was so “them”, and it was such a joy to document it all.
