Well, it’s been ages since I’ve posted anything. It’s a dreary time in NC and we’ve made it through one ice storm and now are awaiting the next possible storm headed our way for this weekend. Wanted to share an image that I think of often. Colorado is truly full of idyllic scenes and if I and my family didn’t dislike the cold and snow so much we move there.

Ten years ago I took this photo of Mirror Lake in Utah. We lived in a vintage Airstream trailer at the time and were looking for our dream town to move to. We stayed in Heber City, UT for a month and fell in love with the area. Thought about staying but while my husband and I love the mountains we aren’t so much fans of snow and really cold winters. Fast forward to now…we live 30 min from Asheville, NC and have beautiful mountains but very little snow and I’m incredibly grateful to be here.
