There are some kids who are just genuinely good humans. 🤍

We met Aedan and his family through soccer years ago, and he is truly one of the nicest kids you could ever meet. Kind, respectful, easygoing — just an all-around great human.

Getting to have him in front of my camera for his senior photos was pretty special. It’s crazy how quickly these soccer kids have grown up, and now somehow we’re taking SENIOR pictures. 🥹

I’ve photographed many seniors over the years, but nothing quite prepares you for the moment when the kid standing in front of your camera is your own. 🤍 Yesterday, I took Connor’s senior photos.

And somehow, here we are.

He’s my last one. His sister is already a junior in college, and now it’s his turn for senior year. It’s bittersweet in a way I’m not quite sure I have words for, while at the same time, I’m so incredibly excited for everything that lies ahead for him.

There is so much ahead of you, Connor, and I cannot wait to see where life takes you. I have a feeling this next chapter is going to be a pretty amazing one. 🤍

Maybe this is why I believe so deeply in photographs. These seasons really do pass faster than we ever think they will.
