There is something magical that happens when you combine babies, curious kids and wildflower fields. ✨

We had the best time exploring this meadow and capturing the sweetest photos. Big brother was intent on exploring the bungalow and winding paths, while his little sister was happy to be cuddled the entire time. All the while, these incredible parents simply loved their children and laughed through the squirmy, comical moments. 💕

It’s such an honor to be invited to photograph beautiful families who embody such deep love for each other. I always leave with my cup filled up. 🤍🤍🤍

When you live on beautiful farmland that’s been in the family for over a 100 years… This family session was such a joy to photograph and I absolutely love capturing the playfulness, movement and laughter that comes with happy kids!

We had blue skies, fields stretching towards the horizon and plenty of space for running around. It’s always special to capture families at home, enjoying their most familiar place in the world. 💛

This Mother’s Day, I couldn’t help feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my crew of five and my husband. He somehow finds the energy to run at the crack of dawn each morning, pour his heart and soul into his work, and come home to be super dad and the best teammate in parenting.

Beyond this, I’ve also been reflecting on the countless incredible women in my life who have walked this journey of motherhood with me. I have had mentors who have ‘been there’ years ago and encouraged me with wisdom. I have had sisters and friends who are right there in the parenting trenches with me and have kept me sane, supported and able to see the humor of living with little people 24/7. I have had friends without kids who have cheered me on as a mom and demonstrated incredible patience and care with my own kiddos. I have had a mother and mother-in-law who have shown me the beauty of unconditional, selfless love for family.

Without these women and their love, I wouldn’t be the person and mother I am today…
