DCHS Class of 1991 • 35th Reunion • Day 2 — July 24, 2026 ❤️
Day 2 was totally rad! 😎
The afternoon kicked off with an epic Scavenger Hunt, created by Aisha Thomas’ sister, Helen (Thomas) Davis. We met at Bloom Cafe, divided into teams, and headed out into Glendive to hunt down some of the places and landmarks that make our hometown special.
The challenge involved getting selfies and photos at various Glendive landmarks and reunion stops—the famous Glendisaurus (Glendi!), DCHS, Pin High Sports Bar, Southside Tavern, the Beer Jug, and more. Some of the photo challenges were pretty hilarious, including a mean-faced Saloon photo at the Beer Jug! 😂
There were even bonus points for finding one of our teachers! And we found Mr. Tom Skerritt and his wife, Terry, which was such a fun surprise. ❤️ It was so good to see him and get a picture together after all these years!
Now, I have to admit… our team didn't exactly understand all of the directions. 😂 So while some teams were out there apparently following the scavenger hunt instructions like seasoned professionals, we were just doing our best to figure out what the heck we were supposed to be doing.
Needless to say, we did not win. 😂
But the team who DID win absolutely deserved it—and their name was pretty damn fantastic:
TEAM ! 😂😂😂
The name came from some good-natured razzing between friends, and somehow Cathy, Becky, Amy & Cherise managed to take that team all the way to VICTORY! 🏆
And their prizes? Now THAT was some seriously awesome 1991 nostalgia! 😂 A bottle of delicious Strawberry Boone’s Farm, a crimping iron, an E.T. stuffed alien, a RED CORDED PHONE, neon sunglasses, a Walkman with some sweet tapes (Poison and maybe Bon Jovi), Reese’s Pieces for E.T., neon scrunchies, and more!
Congratulations, ladies! You totally crushed it! 😂❤️
6:00 PM: Pre-Rodeo Mixer at Pin High Sports Bar
7:00 PM: PRCA Rodeo 🤠
9:00 PM: Meet-up at the Beer Booth for cold drinks, music, and one more night of catching up.
And speaking of HOT… 🥵🔥
This entire reunion weekend was a scorcher, with temperatures over 100° more than once. Friday's official high in Glendive was 102°F! Somehow, we survived the heat, the scavenger hunt, the rodeo, and all that running around town.
Find yourself, tag your friends, and enjoy the memories! Please feel free to share the photos—I love that we can all keep these memories going long after the weekend is over. If you share one, I’d be grateful if you’d tag Janis Foley Photography so I can see where these memories travel. 😊
And one little favor from your photographer friend… I’d love it if you could leave the images as they are when sharing them, without cropping or adding filters or edits. I put a lot of love into finishing these, and I’d love for everyone to see them just as they were intended. ❤️
We may not have won the scavenger hunt, but we sure had a hell of a good time trying! 😂❤️
