January is a fresh start.

A moment when so many women decide it’s finally time to show up as they are today.. not the version from years ago, not the one who was waiting to feel “ready.”

A headshot isn’t about looking perfect. It’s about being seen. About letting the outside finally match the professional you’ve become.

Christmas Day feels like a special pause. When the world is a little stiller and a little more quiet.

A moment to breathe before the world asks anything of us again. I wanted to take today to speak directly to you, woman to woman, heart to heart.

If this year asked more of you than you expected, I hope today reminds you of what you’ve carried through it. Strength doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it looks like staying. Sometimes it looks like choosing softness anyway.

My work has always been rooted in this belief. That you are already worthy of being seen. That beauty is not something you earn or fix or prove. It exists in the way you show up, in the life you’ve lived, in the courage it takes to keep becoming.

Today, I hope you let yourself receive. Rest. Love. Grace. And maybe a quiet knowing that the next chapter doesn’t require you to be different. Just more fully yourself.

Let's rewind... I remember my first headshot—yikes! 😅 But guess what? I've figured a few things out since then. So, let's break it down, Heather style...

Tip 1 📖: Solid Colors Work Best. Choose solid, neutral colors that complement your skin tone. Avoid busy patterns that can distract from your face. Your face should be the focus

Tip 2 🎉: Fit is Everything. Wear clothes that fit well—not too tight, not too loose. A well-fitting blazer or blouse can sharpen your overall appearance. Not too worry though, I will make sure that you are clamped in to your outfit as needed.
