I’ve been wanting to share this session since I photographed it. This sweet family spent some time with me back in June, exploring and playing and having fun together.

Your family session doesn’t have to be stiff or boring. It can be whatever you want it to be: nature adventures, playing on the playground, or just generally spending time together as a family.

I’m Clare, a 35yo documentary photographer born & raised in Albany, New York. A little more about me:

🐶 I’m married to my high school sweetheart, have a beagle mix pup named Minnie, and I eat more cheese than I care to admit.
📺 My favorite show is 30Rock, my favorite color is red, and I’m frequently jamming out to Olivia Dean.
❤️I love photographing couples in love, families in their element, and humans just being human.

While I’m not currently taking on anymore sessions or weddings, please know how grateful I am for all of you for being here.

Straight out of an LL Bean catalogue.

N+K (whose stunner of a wedding I photographed a few years back) have invited me back to photograph their growing family at their parents’ gorgeous property on Sacandaga Lake these past few years. I cherish these fun memories and am reminded just how awesome meeting these people and being invited back into their lives time and time again can be! I will never take this job for granted.

Also, can we please talk about how stinkin’ cute this family is? The little toy boats get me every time. 🤍

This day. This couple. Their people. The scenery. All of it just magical.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard more heartfelt, loving vows from one person to another - and E+M both delivered the most memorable and beautiful words to each other. I cried my eyes out at the sight of these two, their immense love for each other, and the immense love they have for their people (who gave it right back!).

I felt so at home photographing this wedding, and it was beyond an honor to have done so. Happy 1 week anniversary, lovebirds!
