“I am so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

The absolute most magical fall morning spent in Front Royal with Conner Ann of Dynamic Duo!!

Spending the morning with new friends, watching the sun rise over the fog and the colorful leaves, nose boops, a canter by the creek, deep talks, belly-laughs, puppy snuggles…some days just can’t be beat. 🩵

More from this shoot to come 🔜👀

The end of an era 🤝 the beginning of an era🩵

Madi Hunter | Heart Horse Media , girl. This photo is not only stunning 🤩 but is everything I have ever dreamed of in one imagine.

Chance 🦄 You are the foundation of my career, my life, and everything in between. You are the little horse that could, always giving 110% of everything asked of you. You gave a 16-year-old girl the world and were the best partner I could have ever asked for as I found my way in this sport. You have shaped me into the rider, horsewoman, and human I am today, and I will never be able to repay you for everything you have given me. Here’s to the best 10 years we could have ever imagined, and here’s to 10 more with you passing that on to the younger generations! 🤍

Posh 🦛 You were everything I needed after having to step Chance down, and I could not have asked for a better horse to fill his shoes. Although your feet may be bigger, the footprint you had to fill was ten times your size. You have stepped up to every new question, challenge, and adventure just as Chance did before you.

You were exactly what I needed through everything life has thrown at me over the last couple of years. You helped me find my spark and drive again after the worst year of my life. You kept showing up for me, even on the days when I struggled to show up for you. I will forever be grateful for the partnership we have built and everything you have given me along the way.

This year has only been a glimpse of what’s to come, and I am so excited for all the adventures, milestones, and memories we still have ahead of us. 🩵

Two incredible horses, two very different chapters, and one very lucky girl. I owe so much of who I am to these two, and I can only hope the years ahead are half as special as the ones we’ve already shared. 🐴🩵

Founder Introduction 💫

Hiii friends 👋 I felt like it was due time to have a sit down introduction again, so, here we go...

I’m Madi, founder and sole operator of Heart Horse Media 📸 I’m the girl behind the camera, chief treat dispenser, creative mastermind, and self-certified crazy horse girl 🐴

HHM wasn’t always my full-time gig. I officially went “pro” as a rider and trainer back in 2016 and ran a full operation for a number of years before I sustained a career-ending injury and was forced to hang up my spurs.

I tried going cold turkey on the horse world, and obviously, that didn’t work out for me 🤪 I traded my boots for a camera and what happened after that is what Heart Horse has become 🥹

Outside of horses (wait, there’s an outside of horses??) I’m a big baseball nerd, avid journal-er, love curling up with a good book, or baking something delicious in between dance breaks 🎧

I’m so grateful that you decided to join me on this little adventure of mine 🥳

Stay awhile, yea? I can guarantee lots of pretty pony pictures, belly-laughs, sometimes a bit too much blunt honesty, and a whole lot of Madi...I may even throw in some snacks if you ask nicely 🍿
