😂 The things we do for the shot…

(I’ve seen and heard crazy things from my human mommas too)🤣

Hanna and I spent a ridiculous amount of time chasing Gioia around the studio, trying to convince her that sitting still for approximately three seconds was not an unreasonable request. 😂

There was winking. There was tongue. There were crazy eyes. There was absolutely ZERO cooperation. And then… we brought out the big guns.

Thank you, Jif peanut butter, for your service. 🥜😂

Proof that behind every beautiful pet portrait is a photographer, an assistant, a lot of patience… and apparently a spoonful of peanut butter. 😂🐾

Meet my newest grandpup, Bane. 🖤🐾

At just 13 weeks old, he came in for his very first Timeless Pet Portrait… and apparently nobody told him that “timeless” requires sitting still for more than 2.5 seconds. 😂

Hanna and I worked for this one — treats, noises, repositioning, pleading, negotiating… you name it. But somehow, in between all that puppy chaos, we got this sweet little face. 🥹

And this is exactly why I love these portraits so much. Puppies grow ridiculously fast, and one day we’ll look back at this and remember those fluffy curls, that baby face… and probably how absolutely exhausted we were when we took it. 😂

I also love the idea of classic pet portraits hanging on your walls right alongside the rest of your family portraits — because our pets are family, too, and they deserve a place in the artwork that fills our homes. 🤎

My sweet Bane. You were worth every single outtake. 🖤

WHAT IN THE BABY BOOM IS HAPPENING?! 😂👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻

Y’all… did everybody get together and decide to have a baby at the SAME TIME and forget to invite me to the meeting?! 🤣

My newborn calendar is looking like somebody handed out pregnancy tests as party favors. 😂

I am absolutely NOT complaining — keep those sweet squishy babies coming! 🥹🤍 But if you’re expecting, you may want to get on my calendar before I have to start installing bunk beds in the studio. 😜

Apparently 2026 said, “More babies. ALL the babies.” 😂

And I am HERE. FOR. IT. 🤍

Sometimes I stop and think about how incredibly lucky I am to do what I do. ❤️

My clients aren’t just names on my calendar or sessions on my schedule. You invite me into some of the most meaningful moments of your lives — growing bellies, brand-new babies, first birthdays, growing families, graduations, and all those little moments in between.

I get to watch your babies grow. I get to see families come back year after year. I get to hug your kids, laugh with you, celebrate with you, and preserve pieces of your story that you’ll be able to hold onto forever.

And somewhere along the way, so many of you have become much more than clients. You’ve become friends. You’ve become part of my story too.

I hope you know how much I appreciate every single person who chooses me, trusts me, recommends me, shares my work, and continues to come back. You allow me to make a living doing something I truly love, and I will never take that for granted.

I love my little photography family more than I could ever put into words. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your lives. ❤️

I know, I know… it’s approximately 1,000 degrees outside and South Carolina currently feels like we’re living on the surface of the sun. ☀️🔥😂

Fall? Crisp air? Sweaters? Boots? Right now those all sound like fictional concepts. 🍂

BUT… believe it or not, fall sessions are right around the corner, and it’s time to start thinking about booking your outdoor/location fall photos! 📸🍁

Every year it feels way too early to start talking about fall… until suddenly it’s October, the weather is gorgeous, the leaves are changing, and all the good dates are GONE. 😅
