The light hits differently here, the streets always seem to lead somewhere worth stopping, and even after countless walks through this city, there’s always another corner waiting to surprise you.
Porto doesn’t try too hard to be beautiful.
It just is. ✨

The architecture, the details, the light, the symmetry

Milan has a way of making even an ordinary street feel carefully designed.

I photographed this entire carousel with the new Samyang AF 60–180mm F2.8 on L-Mount, and Milan felt like the perfect city to put this focal range to work.
I loved being able to step back, compress the scene and isolate details that would normally disappear in a wider frame.

60mm when I wanted more of the city. 180mm when one little detail was enough.

You think Italy can’t get any more cinematic…
.then Venice happens. 🇮🇹

No cars, no ordinary streets, just canals, bridges and beautiful chaos around every corner. Somehow, even getting lost here feels like part of the plan.

Every single frame was shot with the 7ARTISANS OFFICIAL 40mm F2.5 on Sony FE.
At just 90g, it’s tiny in the bag but definitely punches above its weight!
I really enjoyed the 40mm focal length here, wide enough to capture the atmosphere of the streets, but still tight enough to isolate those little details that make Venice, Venice.

The F2.5 aperture also came in handy in the darker alleys and interiors, while keeping the whole setup small enough to carry around all day.

One small lens, one focal length, and Venice doing the rest. 📷🇮🇹
