This image of mine, Lake Pukaki, has received Honours in a Winter Salon I entered it into. Here is what the judge had to say...

" Honours - What a lovely day with the view across the lake to the snow capped mountains.
The chosen camera settings are ideal with crispness and detail right through the image.
The composition of this image with a low down camera angle has been well thought out."

This is now the 3rd image I've entered into a salon and come out with Honours. It is the highest award one can receive in these salons. Blows my mind!

If you're getting married in the next year or two, I'm opening up my books and would LOVE to photograph some of your beautiful chaos.

I'm not the photographer who expects you to spend your entire wedding day posing for photos. Honestly, you've got better things to do.

I want to photograph the stuff that's actually happening.

Your mum losing it when she sees you.
Your mates being absolute idiots during the bridal party photos. The little looks between you and your partner when nobody else is paying attention.

The tears, all the laughs, even those nervous and ridiculous bits. But most importantly, the people who mean the most to you.

Of course we'll get those pesky yet beautiful posed portraits too. But I want your gallery to feel like your wedding, not a photoshoot you happened to have a wedding at.

I'm based around the Wellington/Kāpiti region and travel throughout Wellington, Porirua, the Hutt and Wairarapa. At times, I have travelled further outside of these regions to capture a special day or two.

So if you've got a date locked in, or you're still in the “WE'RE ENGAGED WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO NOW?” stage 😂, send me a message.

Recently I had the opportunity to audition for a real estate photographer role. It was between me - a total noob - and another photographer who is a real estate photographer.

We were both given an identical property to capture, then our photos were sent to the big wigs and they were in charge of choosing who would get the role.

Ya girl got the job! They liked the colouring in my images so have chosen me to capture over 50 Airbnb's in the Hutt region. I am super excited for this opportunity as I have been wanting to work with more businesses and get into real estate photography as well!
