After much consideration and after an incredible 12+ years capturing the magic of horse shows, it's time for a change.
With a heart full of gratitude, I'm bidding farewell to photographing horse shows. My last show will be this Saturday at the HV/WLG/Pāuatahanui PC Circuit Finals 📷
Horse show photography is a hard job to do when you are needed in many other roles in life and I can no longer pour from an empty cup.
But please don’t worry about me, I am well! I’m lucky enough to have some amazing supporters behind me who help me juggle everything, I really couldn’t do it without them and I’m forever grateful! ❤️
Additionally, my photoshoot bookings are closed for the foreseeable future, I will only be taking existing clients on a very casual basis to ensure I’m not burnt out.
Thank you all for your unwavering support and understanding. I'm immensely grateful for every opportunity and cherished moment along the way. It’s the supporters I have who have kept me showing up all this time! So, thank you all! I have loved watching many riders evolve over the past decade and I enjoy being your sideline cheerleader! 🥳
If you’re wanting me to direct you towards some other equine photographers in the area, please let me know - we must support one another!
In the future, I’m hoping to hold more workshops on basic equine photography, but I’ve just got to wait for my anxiety to settle as I’m constantly battling with imposter syndrome.
