When an email from a leading bridal mag lands in your inbox wanting to feature your couple, you know you’ve created something pretty magical.

Hannah and Court booked our Adventure elopement package and brought their parents along as their witnesses, which made the whole day feel really special.

They stayed at the beautiful Crystal Waters Suites before heading out to a very frosty Moke Lake, where The Flower Room had created the most magical floral installation for their ceremony.

Queenstown Celebrant 🤍EMILY OLEARY led an incredible ceremony that had everyone feeling all the feels, then it was into the heli and up to a very snowy Cecil Peak for bubbles and some time together on the mountain.

Although Court may have got slightly overexcited with the ch*****ne and accidentally sprayed it all over Hannah. Sorry Hannah... but also, such a good photo.

Their parents being there, that Moke Lake set-up, fresh snow on Cecil Peak and all the little moments in between made this such a fun one to be part of.

And now Courtney + Hannah’s day gets to have another little moment over at Hello May too.

Tylan & Jake said eloping had felt right from the moment they realised it was an option.

They’d thought about having a traditional wedding because they’re both such giving people and wanted to make their families happy, but it just never really felt like them. It felt like a lot of money and a lot of organising for a day they weren’t actually that excited about.

What they were excited about was coming to Queenstown, having an incredible day together and then spending their honeymoon off adventuring.

So that’s exactly what they did.

They stayed at Jack’s Retreat and had their first look overlooking the lake, then a classic Mustang picked them up and took them to Heliworks.

And they got SO lucky with Cecil Peak. Completely covered in snow for their ceremony. 

Later they drove up Deer Park Heights for their Luxe picnic. They got a little bit of everything we love about Queenstown. The lake, the mountains, fresh snow, the drive up Deer Park, those huge views... but also plenty of time to just hang out together and enjoy it all.

For couples coming from overseas who have never been to Queenstown before, I think Tylan & Jake’s day shows just how much you can experience without your wedding day feeling like you’re racing from one place to the next.

And then the best bit... you wake up the next morning married and you’re already in Queenstown for your honeymoon.

Wedding and adventure all in one trip. Pretty hard to beat.
