Last year we hosted the very first Depth of Field, an event for women in action sports and outdoor media. We knew it would be a good time with great people, and we hoped it would be the start of something really special.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up when this was just an idea and helped build a community that continues to grow and support one another in an industry that can sometimes feel isolating.

This year, we’re widening the circle. If you work in the wider outdoor industry, marketing, sales, media, or you’re an athlete wanting to grow your community and create epic content, this one’s for you.

A bunch of us are getting together to photograph the wahine at the Mulch Session and meet up. We’ll start the day with a coffee at and a chat about the fundamentals of creating an epic MTB image, then head up the hill together to shoot the action.
