Thank you for pushing me to share other IRIS rewarded images. ❤️

1. Kate.. lost in the cruel world of dementia. Kate was a very colourful woman so full of life and with so much passion for her garden. I shot the series just as she had been diagnosed. I very last minute added this to IRIS. Not quite finished I feel, but trying to describe/show the whirlwind going on with lapsing in and out of a world remembered and then not. I still entered it! Thank you judge for seeing Kate.

I’ve caught the bug! Now I ”just” need to keep fit and healthy to keep going!
I had the most fantastic 4 days in ChCh last week. Helping, learning, making some new friends, fully immersing my psyche and mind away from every day stuff. It was wonderful on so many levels. I entered the IRIS awards again and feel pretty chuffed with the results!

I entered work into 4 x categories and 2 of these in categories I haven’t entered before! That was very exciting as well as daunting!

This one in the Creative Portrait category!
I loved this shoot so much with Konrad and Calisto.
Konrad is an overseas student living with us currently. When he met Calisto he found love.
Living in their own bubble and careful at first - their love has blossomed and they are bravely approaching the world coming out of their protected space.
