I’m getting friendly with a straight line, with the square — edges that once felt foreign in my work. I come from softness, from drift and blur, from places that dissolve rather than declare themselves.

This year I’m letting structure enter quietly. Not as a rule, but as a companion. Not to tame the dream, but to walk beside it.

The lines hover rather than interrupt.
Small moments of clarity suspended in haze.
A landscape holding another landscape within it.

I’m listening, not forcing.
Learning how geometry can breathe.

Work in progress.

The day felt charged in the best way.
Shooting for Upone Coaching was pure energy — hard work, focus, and that fierce spark people carry when they’re chasing their goals.

There’s something beautiful about watching young people thrive in business and lift others up at the same time.
A day full of purpose, grit, and real inspiration.

What a journey these past two weekends have been. Kāpiti Coast Art Trail filled my studio with so many beautiful souls — curious hearts, kind eyes, and interesting conversations.
We laughed, we shared stories, and there were moments when the artwork itself stirred something deep...
New connections bloomed.
Opportunities unfolded.
Support moved in generous ways.

And then, as if guided by something greater, the most extraordinary meeting happened — a visit from the Polish Ambassador Patryk Błaszczak, with his wonderful wife, Monika Mizgier-Błaszczak (Public and Cultural Diplomacy Officer, Embassy of the Republic of Poland), and their son.
At the very same moment, another Polish artist, Pan Andrzej, walked through the door.
What are the chances? And yet… it felt completely meant to be.
The Universe has its own gentle choreography.

My heart is full.

Thank you to every single visitor who made their way to my Nikau Valley studio — for your presence, your words, your curiosity, your support.
Thank you to the Kapiti Coast Art Trail organizers, for creating a space where art and community intertwine so beautifully.

Until next year — may we keep creating, keep connecting, keep showing up with open hearts. 🌿✨

Kāpiti Coast Art Trail has begun ✨
The signs and flags will guide you to my studio in the valley.

My studio door is open.
The kettle is warm.
The artworks are waiting to breathe with you.

Looking forward to seeing you —
old friends, curious wanderers, neighbours, and those who simply feel called to step inside for a moment of stillness.

Come find me.
The path is already marked.

Spring has arrived gently — light softening edges, the garden waking, the studio stretching after winter.

As every November approaches, the Kapiti Art Trail becomes my cue to begin again.
A full Spring reset — Sweeping out dust, rearranging shelves, letting the space breathe.
Making space not just on walls, but in myself.

Prints being framed, fabrics drying in the sun, small wooden treasures taking shape, tools placed carefully where hands remember them and the room is slowly finding its rhythm again.

I love this part — the quiet preparation,
the thought of you walking up the path,
the studio doors open to birdsong and bush.

I can’t wait to welcome you to my peaceful Nikau Valley studio,
to share art, conversation, and the gentle beauty of this place.

Kāpiti Coast Art Trail —Starts this Weekend

After yesterday’s storm, the garden glowed again - soft light, wet earth, and that calm after chaos.
I wandered among the leaves, searching for shapes that would match my vision.
With fabric prepared and sunlight spilling through the branches, I mixed two worlds - eco dye and cyanotype - letting nature and chemistry dance together.
Now the scarves swing gently on the line, blue and golden, breathing with the wind.
My feet are stained blue, my heart full - what a blissful day of creating. 💙

"Motherhood"
A Story of Love That Learns to Let Go

There comes a moment in every mother’s life when the walls of the family home begin to echo differently. Laughter fades into memory. The rooms hold their breath. Pride and silence meet in the same tender heartbeat.

Motherhood is born from that quiet threshold — the space between holding on and letting go.

In this mixed-media fine art print, photography and hand-drawn illustration intertwine. A solitary figure stands, grounded yet open, her shadow stretching like the echo of a home once full. Above her, two birds take flight — symbols of freedom, growth, and the bittersweet grace of an empty nest. Each bird is drawn by hand, making every edition utterly unique — no two the same, as no two motherhoods ever are.

Awarded Gold with Distinction at the 2025 NZIPP Iris Awards, Motherhood became the work that carried me to win Creative Photographer of the Year — a recognition of both emotional depth and technical mastery.

This is a limited edition of only TEN.
Four have already found homes before release.
Each is a one-of-a-kind heirloom.

A deeply meaningful gift for a parent, a tribute to courage, or simply a reminder that love, when set free, never truly leaves.

"Roses" - limited edition print 🌹

We age as the roses do — our petals dry, our colours deepen.
The softness fades, yet something richer blooms: wisdom, patience, and quiet grace.

This image is part of a small, limited series I return to every now and then — each one a meditation on time and transformation. This is the third piece from that edition.

Printed on Ilford Galerie Smooth Cotton Rag and sealed with layers of encaustic wax, it carries both fragility and permanence.

I love creating this way — often sitting on the floor, where I feel most grounded and connected to the work. It’s less about control, more about flow — letting the piece breathe its own story.

This piece will be available at from tomorrow afternoon.
