Your electorate vote is choosing who reps your hometown at the top level 👉🏽

Team = Party Vote.
Player = Electorate vote.

Outcome: Sausage rolls for everyone

That’s basically how First Past the Post works: the option with the most votes wins, even if most people voted for something else.

It’s why Aotearoa switched to MMP, where Parliarment has changed to better reflect how people actually vote.
